Hyundai Tucson Theta II Gas Engine image
For petrol engine power like no other, the sophisticated Theta II engine muscles up the Tucson's drive.  Equipped with
a Dual CVVT (intake and exhaust camshaft phaser), the 2.4 Liter Petrol Engine of the Tucson Churns out maximum
power output of 177ps at 6,000 rpm and maximum torque of 23.1 kg-m at 4,000 rpm.  The 2.0 Liter petrol engine with
D-CVVT on the other hand easily unleases maximum power output of 166 ps at 6,200 rpm and maximum torques of
20.1 kg-m at 4,600 rpm.   Performance is upgraded in both Theta II engine variants with the application of a two-stage
Variable Intake System (VIS) that allows switching between long and short intake manifold resulting in optimized
"engine breathing" to provide you consistently supply power.
